Office Administrator

The Project

As a highly experienced Project Administrator, you will be based in the North West Region on a project based in Preston. You will be required to welcome guests and have excellent people skills, alongside deal with Contractual Drawings, documents and any other admin duties that come through email. Further to this, you will need to have excellent organisation skills as you will be arranging internal and external meetings

Requirements



For this role it is essential that you carry the following skills & experience as a minimum;

* Accurate typing skills
* Proven planning and process management skills
* Attention to detail, accuracy and logical approach to duties
* Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel (PowerPoint preferable)
* Experience of working on a construction site environment in a similar role is beneficial
* Experience using an electronic document control system is preferable but not essential
* Knowledge of document control and/ or construction industry processes/ terminology preferable

Duties

* Team communications
* Maintaining office systems
* Booking couriers and taxis
* Keeping records up to date
* Dealing with incoming e-mail and post
* Receiving and replying to email queries
* Printing, scanning binding / filing documents
* Management of PPE for new starters and visitors
* Ordering stationery / materials for the project team
* Use Outlook, Word and Excel on a day-to-day basis
* Providing support to our Project team when required
* Organising catering for ad hoc events held at the office
* Booking meeting rooms and buffet lunches as requested
* Welcoming visitors and staff and giving access to the building
* General admin support as required to the team and Directors
* Producing documents, reports and presentations to a high standard
* Liaising with staff and clients in an effective and professional manner
* Ensure the team is compliant with all company Standards and Procedures
* Diary management and booking of meeting rooms - coordinating calendar and setting up video
