Senior Commercial & Project Manager


The Company

Our client is a prestigious global developer with an exceptional track record of delivering luxury and award winning flagship destinations. At present they hold a £50bn project portfolio with a further £3bn secured for the next 10 years. They have delivered an array of high profile projects within the retail, commercial and residential sectors across the UK.

The Project

You will work closely with the senior leadership team and head of departments to ensure the successful delivery of various prestigious residential / commercial projects across London.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* HND/DEGREE or equivalent level qualification in Quantity Surveying

It is also essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Strong organizational skills
* Superb negotiation capabilities
* Excellent sales and presentation skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
* Strong communication and attention to details
* Significant understanding of forms of build contracts
* Well experienced in working on loss / expense claims
* Experienced in the use of IT software such as Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint
* In depth knowledge of health & safety policies and legislation as well as construction law and procedures
* History of solely delivering commercial packages on new build / refurbishment projects in the residential sector

* Project: Various major residential / commercial and retail projects across London with values up to £800m+
* Reporting to: Commercial Director

Duties

* Able to delegate successfully
* Close out of package procurement
* Leadership of the commercial team
* Ensure projects meet contractual terms
* Monitoring and control of sub contractors
* Reliable with strong time management skills
* Attending senior project / commercial meetings
* Maintain and expand supply chain relationships
* Consistent reporting across the Commercial team
* Offer useful feedback to project teams and individuals
* Assisting in the onboarding and recruitment of relevant staff
* Assist difficult matters to eliminate / reduce commercial risks
* Commercial management of all sub-contractors / consultants
* The ability to encourage a team to achieve one common goal
* Internal reporting and monitoring of trade contractors on projects
* Confidence in presentation and the skill to lead high level meetings
* Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients
