Planner- Assistant Planner

Planner - Teesside

* £250-300 per day

A leading construction and civil engineering contractor is looking for a Planner or Junior/Assistant Planner to join their team working on a major project in Teesside (Netzero).

The Role

The successful candidate will have experience in construction planning, with particular knowledge of civil engineering and concrete-related works. The role itself will be managing a site from the planning point of view, including use of Asta Powerproject and planning for formwork, reinforced concrete works and similar civils works. As the works are pretty straightforward, we are ideally looking for someone in the early stages of their planning career to work under the Planning Manager for the company. This will be a temporary to permanent role.

Key requirements:

* Proficient in Asta Powerproject
* Ideally with experience working with NEC contract
* Good knowledge of groundworks
* Understanding of formwork, reinforcement and concrete works
* Previous experience in construction planning and programme management
* Strong communication and organisational skills
