Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join a major bridge bearing replacement scheme in Stowmarket.

The project involves bearing replacement works on a 350m-long viaduct, approximately 8m high, crossing a railway line and two rivers. The viaduct will require temporary propping.

This is a site-based role with a strong focus on QA/QC, inspections, quality documentation and compliance throughout the project.

Key Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a QA Engineer within civil engineering/infrastructure
*

Strong bridges and structures experience
*

Good knowledge of ITPs, inspections, NCRs and quality documentation
*

PTS highly desirable due to the railway interface
*

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
*

Own laptop/computer and mobile phone required

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day QA/QC activities on site
*

Prepare and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
*

Carry out inspections and maintain quality records
*

Manage NCRs and quality observations
*

Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and project requirements
*

Monitor subcontractor quality
*

Support audits and handover documentation
*

Work closely with Site and Project Management teams
*

Maintain quality standards throughout the project
