Experience:
* A background of 5 years minimum with a proven track record of success operating as a Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager or a similar position on new build/refurbishment projects
* Proven industry expertise with a track record of successfully managing mechanical and electrical packages on medium - large scale projects
Key Skills:
* IT skills
* Impressive leadership abilities
* Expertise in budget management
* Effective strategic vision and planning capabilities
* Proven experience in building and managing relationships
* Strong understanding of construction laws and regulations
* Clear and effective communication skills, written and verbal

* A solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques
* A track record of delivering quality results whilst maintaining positive relationships
* Proficient in project management software, industry-specific tools, and relevant technical expertise
* Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, systems and technologies

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E works on a new-build care home development in Tweedbank. You will be responsible for managing the mechanical and electrical packages from installation through to commissioning and handover, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring programme and quality, and liaising closely with the main contractor and site teams throughout the project. Previous experience delivering M&E packages on care homes, healthcare, residential or commercial construction projects is highly desirable.
