Role: Finishing Foreman

Project: University Refurbishment

Location: Manchester

Rate: £23 per hour

Start: Monday 21st September

Length: 8 Weeks

Experience:

* Extensive experience as a Finishing Foreman on refurbishment projects
* Previous experience working on university or educational projects preferred
* Proven track record as a Finishing Foreman
* Must have been previously placed by Caval with excellent references
* Strong knowledge of finishing trades and refurbishment works
* Confident managing subcontractors and site labour
* Good health and safety knowledge
* Strong eye for detail and quality of finish
* Able to manage snagging and ensure works are completed to a high standard
* Willing to work weekends if required

Certs:

* CSCS card
* Relevant site qualifications
* SMSTS / SSSTS desirable

Responsibilities:

* Manage and coordinate finishing trades on site
* Oversee day-to-day finishing works across the university refurbishment
* Manage subcontractors and direct site labour
* Ensure works are completed to a high standard and in line with the programme
* Coordinate with the Site Manager and other trades
* Monitor progress and report any issues or delays
* Carry out quality checks and manage snagging works
* Ensure all finishing works meet the required specification
* Maintain good health and safety standards throughout the project
* Keep the site clean, tidy and organised
* Liaise with other site teams to ensure smooth handovers
* Assist with the day-to-day running of the site as required
