Site Agent - Civils & Drainage

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Agent to join a civil engineering project in Leeds, working on highways, local streets and roads, with a strong focus on drainage and associated civils works.

The Role

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and supervising civils, highways and drainage works.
*

Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and plant.
*

Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programmes.
*

Managing daily site activities and maintaining progress against programme.
*

Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are followed.
*

Liaising with the Site Manager, Project Manager, engineers and client representatives.
*

Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to specification.
*

Maintaining site records, permits, RAMS and daily reports.
*

Identifying and resolving site issues efficiently.
*

Supporting planning, sequencing and coordination of works on live highways and local road networks.

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Site Agent / Senior Site Supervisor within civil engineering.
*

Strong experience in highways and drainage works.
*

Experience working on roads, local streets and live highway environments.
*

Good understanding of civils construction methods and site management.
*

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
*

Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
*

Good communication and organisational skills.
*

Relevant site qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS.
*

A valid driving licence is desirable.
