Planner

Job Title: Senior Planner

Location: North West - Travels across Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle



For this role you must possess the following:

* Proven experience as a Senior Planner (5+ Years)
* Strong Tier 1 main contractor background (5+ Years)
* Design & Build project experience is essential
* Extensive experience using ASTA Powerproject
* Experience producing and managing construction programmes from tender through to project completion
* Experience working on projects valued up to £50 million
* Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, planning methodologies, and programme management
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Full UK Driving Licence

Duties

* Produce, develop and manage detailed construction programmes using ASTA Powerproject
* Work closely with pre-construction, commercial, design and operational teams to develop robust project programmes
* Manage Design & Build programmes from tender stage through to project completion
* Support multiple live projects across the North West, depending on project size and complexity
* Monitor project progress against programme and identify potential risks and delays
* Develop mitigation strategies and recovery programmes where required
* Attend project progress meetings and provide planning support to project teams and senior management
* Produce regular programme updates, reports and critical path analysis
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure programme objectives are achieved
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and in accordance with contractual requirements
* Provide planning expertise throughout all phases of the construction process

Sector Experience

* Design & Build construction projects
* Typical project values between £10 million and £20 million
* Experience delivering projects up to £50 million
* Commercial, industrial, education, healthcare or public sector project experience would be advantageous
