Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum + £6,000 Car Allowance

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of infrastructure and civil engineering projects across Yorkshire and the North East. You will be responsible for managing projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience within drainage, civil engineering, highways, or infrastructure projects and be confident coordinating site operations, resources, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

Experience managing civil engineering, drainage, highways, or infrastructure projects
*

Strong project planning and organisational skills
*

Good understanding of health and safety within construction environments
*

Experience managing budgets, programmes, and project resources
*

Excellent communication and leadership skills
*

Competent using Microsoft Office and project management software
*

Full UK driving licence
*

HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
*

SMSTS or SSSTS certification (desirable)
*

CSCS Card (desirable)
*

Experience working on National Highways or local authority projects (desirable)

Responsibilities:

Manage projects from inception through to completion
*

Plan and coordinate project programmes and schedules
*

Monitor budgets, resources, and project performance
*

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
*

Review project documentation, including risk assessments and method statements
*

Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors
*

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
*

Identify and resolve technical or operational issues
*

Produce regular progress reports for senior management
*

Support and develop site teams while maintaining high standards of delivery
