Assistant Project Manager

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Fit Out)

Location: Manchester

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + Benefits

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you should possess the following:

* Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or a related discipline (preferred)
* Full UK Driving Licence and own transport
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Eagerness to develop a career within the commercial fit out sector
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within deadlines
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

Duties

* Assist Project Managers with the delivery of CAT A & CAT B commercial fit out projects
* Support the day-to-day running of multiple live projects
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
* Attend site meetings and assist with recording progress
* Help monitor project programmes, costs and quality standards
* Liaise with clients, consultants and internal departments
* Assist with procurement and material scheduling
* Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with company procedures
* Support project handovers and completion documentation
* Gain exposure to projects from pre-construction through to final completion
