ROLE: Assistant Project Manager

LOCATION: Doncaster

Day Rate: £200-£230 DOE

BACKGROUND: CIVIL ENGINEERING

Reports To:

Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Role Purpose

Support the Project Manager in delivering the Civil Engineering package for a large scale Civil Engineering package, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Support delivery of civil engineering works including earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete, drainage, roads and fencing.
* Monitor programme, cost, quality and contractor performance.
* Coordinate subcontractors, engineers, suppliers and client representatives.
* Assist with planning, progress reporting and risk management.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
* Review drawings, technical queries, method statements and construction documentation.
* Support commercial activities including variations, procurement and payment assessments.
* Attend site meetings and maintain accurate project records.

Work closely with an experienced Project Manager and gain valuable experience.
