No.1 Site Manager - Main Contractor

The Opportunity
We are working with a well established West Yorkshire based main contractor with a strong pipeline of work across commercial and education sectors.

Due to planned succession within the business, they are looking to appoint a strong No.1 Site Manager, with the opportunity to progress into a Contracts Manager position over time as senior members of the team begin to retire.

This is a long term opportunity for someone looking to step up within a growing regional contractor.

Projects Overview
The business delivers a mix of projects including:
* Commercial new build and refurbishment schemes
* Education projects
* Traditional and Design & Build contracts
* Projects typically ranging up to £1m-£6m

Key Responsibilities
* Acting as the No.1 on site
* Managing day to day site operations from start to completion
* Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
* Ensuring projects are delivered on programme, budget, and quality
* Maintaining high health & safety standards
* Reporting into senior leadership and contributing to project delivery strategy

What We're Looking For

Experience:
* Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager with a main contractor
* Background delivering projects up to £5m+
* Experience across new build and refurbishment
* Strong all round site management capability

Certifications:
* SMSTS
* CSCS (Black or Gold)
* First Aid
