Job Title: Commercial Manager

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Car Allowance



Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role, you must possess the following:

* Experience as a Commercial Manager within a roofing subcontractor environment
* Strong understanding of flat and pitched roofing, cladding, and envelope systems
* Excellent knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
* Skilled in cost control, forecasting, and CVRs
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial tools
* Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or Construction (preferred)
* Full UK Driving Licence

Duties

* Client-facing with a professional, solution-focused approach
* Manage commercial aspects of roofing projects from tender to final account
* Support pre-construction with enquiries, take-offs, and pricing
* Lead subcontract procurement and contract administration
* Monitor project performance, valuations, variations, and change control
* Work with operations teams to maintain cost, quality, and programme
* Produce accurate monthly CVRs and forecasts
* Ensure commercial procedure compliance and implement improvements
* Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
* Support handovers, final accounts, and project sign-off
