Quantity Surveyor

The role: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Sheffield

Salary / Day rate: £45,000 - £50,000

Requirements:

* 5+ Years QS experience
* Local to Sheffield / Surrounding areas
* Strong numerical & analytical skills
* Able efficiently price upto £3 Million Worth of tenders
* Familiarity with subcontractor/supplier pricing
* Full UK driving license

Duties:

* Prepare and manage tender submissions and cost estimates.
* Calculate labour and material requirements for project timelines.
* Conduct site visits for measurements and progress valuations.
* Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
* Manage budgets through design, planning, and delivery stages.
* Recommend cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.
* Identify and mitigate cost and contractual risks.
* Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Monitor cash flow and maintain cost reports.
* Ensure compliance with contracts and procurement procedures.
* Collaborate with project teams to meet financial targets.
