Site Supervisor - Temp to Perm

We are working with a Civil Engineering & Construction Company on the civils aspect of large warehouse developments - specifically working with large concrete slabs. They are looking for a Site Supervisor to join the company on a temp to permanent basis working on schemes across the country. Ideally with experience managing Civils & logistics in busy working environments - travel is required for this role.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;

* SSSTS / SMSTS
* CSCS Card

For this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Experience as a Site Supervisor/Foreman in Civils, Logistics, abrasive wheels, grinding and similar

The Role

* Job Title: Site Supervisor
* Job Type: Temp to perm (3 month freelance then on the books)
* Location: Milton Keynes - Willing to Travel / Work Away
* Duration: 6 Weeks
* Start Date: 1st September
* Reporting to: Site Manager

Duties

* Managing the workforce on site
* Managing the logistics on site
* Monitor and produce good quality of work
* Supervising the civils, abrasive wheels, grinding works
* Completing QA paperwork, taking photos for progress reports
* Assisting the site manager with the day-to-day running of the site
* Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors
* Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements
* Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time
