The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the senior management team on a £50m new build large-scale warehouse & distribution facility in Bristol. The role involves managing day-to-day site operations, monitoring project progress, proactively resolving on-site issues, and coordinating closely with the project team and stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solution-focused approach to ensure the successful, on-time, and within-budget completion of a high-quality facility.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

Experience:

* Proven history of working on large scale new build / refurbishments in the industrial sector with values in excess of £20m
* Established background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar position with a leading construction contractor or subcontractor

* IT skills
* Efficient negotiation skills
* Effective time management
* Quality & risk management
* Understanding of construction laws and regulations
* Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively
* In depth understanding of contract terms and conditions
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
* Holds a thorough understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
* A solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques
* Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, and coordinating complex construction projects
