Freelance Site Engineer - Bridge/Highways

The Project

As an experienced Site Engineer, you will work on a bearing & joint replacement on a Bridge over the Rail.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* PTS

It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Solid understanding of engineering principles
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Experience as a Site / Senior Engineer on highways & bridge projects

Duties

* Setting out and surveying of the site
* Setting up and maintaining site control
* Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* To Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
* Attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
* Aid in organising and supervise temporary works when required
* Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
* Ensure site progress pictures are taken and filed during each stake of the development
* Setting out for bridge joints, bearing replacements, drainage, structures, groundworks, concrete works and general civils
