Site Engineer - Civil Engineering

The Project

Site Engineer needed for a up-and-coming Civil Engineering company. This company is fresh to the market and already winning major contracts, therefore this is a great chance to get in with a new and successful company. As a Site Engineer, you will carry out setting out and engineering duties on groundworks & civils projects across Yorkshire, the Humber and Lincolnshire.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

For this role it is desirable that you hold the following skills & experience below;

* Experienced as a Setting Out / Site Engineer on Groundworks & Civils projects in the UK (including highways, 278 works, car parks, ducting, drainage, kerbs)



The Role

* Job Title: Site Engineer
* Duration: Temp to Perm, Permanent
* Reporting to: Site Manager
* Location: Working on Projects within 1 hour of Doncaster (West / South Yorkshire, Humber, Lincolnshire)



Duties

* Setting up and maintaining site control
* Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* Setting out and surveying of the site
* To attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
* Setting out for drainage, foundations, pipes, kerbs, roads & highways, ducting, car parks
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
* Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
* Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
