The Opportunity
With extensive experience as a Document Controller and a solid background in new build and refurbishment projects, you will apply your industry knowledge and document management skills to support the project team on a new educational development valued at over £30 million. You will be based on site and your responsibilities will include managing document control processes, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of drawings and project documents, maintaining version control and audit trails, liaising with contractors and consultants, and supporting the team in meeting compliance and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
* Strong background within the industry with at least 3 years of experience working in a similar position for a leading construction contractor
* A proven history of working on new build / refurbishment projects with build values in excess of £5m
* Experienced and proficient in the use of document management systems

* Understanding and familiarity with construction related documents such as blue-prints, specifications and contracts
Key Responsibilities

* Regularly reporting to the Project Manager / management team
* Assist with the administration of the induction process as required
* Provide relevant stakeholders with the most current and accurate documents
* Ensure adherence to all company documents and procedures is consistently upheld
* Manage and oversee the administration of the Document Control system for the project
* Offer training and assistance to team members on document control procedures and software
* Generate and distribute regular reports on document status, outstanding issues, and compliance
