About the Company

Our client a leading contractor specialising in healthcare provide new build and refurbishment projects across the UK including medical spaces & mobile theatres to live clinical environments.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced freelance Senior Planner to lead the remaining detailed planning and scheduling of a £30m healthcare extension in South West, London.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

* Proven experience of working on projects within healthcare and/or modular sectors is advantageous but not essential
* Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working with leading construction contractors

Key Skills:

* Strong IT skills
* Kowledge of Asta Planning Software
* Capability to conduct successful negotiations
* Clear communication abilities combined with a keen eye for detail
* Capacity to adjust to changes and amend project plans as required
* Solid understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices
* Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

* Perform routine quality audits and assessments
* Maintain and oversee relationships with stakeholders
* Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes
* Execute effective strategies to ensure steady project advancement
* Preparation of accurate and comprehensive project documentation
* Execute risk management strategies to address unexpected obstacles
* Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables
* Establish and sustain positive client relationships, communicating regularly
* Ensure the project aligns with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
* Track and oversee the project schedule to guarantee compliance with deadlines
* Create and deliver routine reports on project advancement, challenges, and results
* Handle and resolve project issues as they emerge for the remainder of the project lifecycle
* Detect potential risks and implement effective mitigation and management strategies
* Utilise project management tools and technologies to improve planning and coordination processes
* Create thorough project schedules, taking into account critical milestones and dependencies
