Mechanical Project Manager
The Company
Our client is a privately owned; leading healthcare technology company with over 20 years in the industry. They provide new modular medical spaces, mobile theatres and building service installation/ maintenance works to live clinical environments across the UK.
The Project
As an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead the Mechanical package on a £30m new build hospital extension in South West London. You will play a crucial role in the successful completion of the project and will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst managing a high pressure and busy environment.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
* CSCS Card
* SMSTS
It is also essential that you hold the experience below;
* Strong history of working as a Mechanical Manager, or in a similar position, on new build projects in the healthcare sector with values in excess of £10m
* Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of in-depth experience in managing MEP teams across various sectors/projects

Duties
* Chairing regular meetings
* Communicate regularly with clients
* Evaluate and approve MEP drawings and specifications
* Oversee the procurement process for MEP materials and equipment
* Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects
* Supervise and manage project timelines to ensure on-time project delivery
* Monitor project budgets and adjust resources to stay within financial limits
* Maintaining relationships with MEP subcontractors, suppliers and vendors
* Liaise with stakeholders and sub-contractors, addressing concerns where necessary
