Site Engineer - Hull

A UK based construction and engineering contractor with over 20 years' experience in Groundworks, Civil Engineering and Construction sector. They have successfully delivered a range of projects, working with some of the world's most successful blue chip companies.



The Project

As an experience Site / Setting Out Engineer, you will be working on the groundwork stages of a major project in the East Ridings area. You will play a key role within this project, conducting detailed surveys and setting out to a high standard, ensuring that the groundworks is laid for a strong foundation or subsequent construction activities.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following as a minimum;

* CSCS Card
* Own Laptop & AutoCAD (preferable)
* 4 years + working in a Site Engineer position
* Extensive experience of working on various groundworks sites
* Own Setting Out Kit (not essential but ideal if the engineer has)

Additional skills;

* Excellent attention to detail
* Competent surveying techniques
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in utilizing construction management software, CAD tools, and other relevant technology
* Possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project specifications

Duties

* Setting out
* Problem solving
* Quality assurance
* Implement and maintain safety protocols
* Completing As builts and reading CAD drawings
* Execute surveys and site investigations to collect relevant data for project planning
