Senior Planner


The Company

Our client is a major main construction and engineering contractor with 100 years' experience in the industry; they have an impressive private and public portfolio of major build, civil and rail projects with values in excess of £200m+. They are a principal supply chain partner on a number of a high-profile framework agreements and are a trusted organisation who are strongly cash positive with a healthy track-record of profit growth.



The Project

As an experienced Senior Planner, you will play a key role within the senior leadership team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. You will offer specialised planning knowledge and produce comprehensive project schedules on various new build projects across education, accommodation, commercial, leisure and healthcare sectors with build values up to £50m+.

Requirements

It is essential that you hold the experience below;

* Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working with tier 1 and tier 2 leading construction contractors
* A demonstrated track record of working on new build/refurbishment projects with build values in excess of £10m in a comparable role
* A proven track record of delivering high quality plans and schedules on projects that were successfully delivered on time and within budget

* Ability to adapt to changes and adjust project plans accordingly
* Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices
* A solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and make strategic decisions
* Expertise in utilising planning software and methodologies to create detailed project schedules
* Proven experience in planning and project management, preferably within the construction industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
