A nationwide contractor who withholds up to 25 years of experience. They have an impressive portfolio of delivering projects to achieve the highest standards and meeting all targets. They operate in various sectors including commercial and retail, although they hold specialities in retail fit out. They are a skilful team and work together efficiently to oversee client satisfaction.



The Projects

As an experienced Project Manager, working closely and reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be overseeing the project success of various retail schemes based in Yorkshire, and traveling nationwide.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Previous experience in managing retail schemes
* Experience in project managing

* Excellent time keeping
* Strong attention to details
* Leading and management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident and proactive in managing own work load
* Ability to multitask and prioritize projects under pressure



The Role

* Job Title: Project Manager
* Job Type: Permanent
* Project: Various Retail Projects, Yorkshire
* Reporting to: Operations Manager



Duties

* Ordering materials
* Maintaining quality control checks
* Reporting to Operations Director regularly
* Conducting quality and safety inspections
* Reporting on project progress to senior managers
* Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
* Ensuring work is finished to an exceptionally high standard
* Liaising with other sub-contractors and the principal contractor
* Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
* Assist in the supervision of direct employees and agency labour
* Managing health and safety throughout the site including site safety inspections
* Overseeing and managing project schedules and budgets to ensure work is completed on time
