Senior Project Manager

The Project

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead a prestigious £30m Hospital Extension in South West London. As a key member of the senior management team, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the project, ensuring that works are completed safely, on time and within budget.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* Valid CSCS Card
* A degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field



Additional skills;

* Competent in using IT software
* Excellent communication, verbal and written
* In-depth knowledge of UK construction regulations and healthcare standards
* Experience of leading projects with a budget of £20 million or more from inception to completion



The Role

* Job Title: Senior Project Manager
* Project: £30m Hospital Extension, South West London
* Job Type: Freelance or Fixed-Term Contract
* Duration: 12 Months
* Reporting to: Regional Director

Duties

* Chair regular meetings
* Carry out health and safety procedures
* Supporting and leading the project team
* Monitor progress of project team by holding reviews regularly
* Make certain all employees under your control develop and progress within the business
* Planning and overall control of all site operations to ensure that the project targets are achieved
* Impose strict snagging, handover and aftercare measures to achieve zero defects upon completion
* Monitor and control of sub-contractors on site and developing subcontractor relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the project
* Organising and overseeing the site team and all construction procedures to ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner
* Working closely with and reporting to a Regional Director Provide to provide regular updates on project status, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions
* Work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and client representatives to establish clear communication channels and foster collaboration
