The Project

As an experienced Setting Out Engineer, you will play a crucial role on a Multi £bn Heavy Civil Engineering Development, in North Yorkshire.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Experience of using Leica TS16 Robotic equipment
* Experience of setting out on major civil engineering developments

The Role

* Job Title: Setting Out Engineer
* Project: Large Heavy Civil Engineering Project, North Yorkshire
* Duration: 3 Weeks
* Reporting to: Senior Engineer

Duties

* Surveying
* Setting Out
* Problem solving
* Reporting to Senior Engineer
* Adhere to current H&S regulations
* Create as built surveys and log data
* Attend and contribute in project related meetings
* Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Provide progress updates to The Senior Management Team
* Provide Technical Advice to Project Team members and Clients
* Operate, manage and have full responsibility for all setting out equipment
* Ensuring quality and environmental standards are met and recorded accurately
* Maintain contemporary records for the progressive and completed works, for measurements, reconciliation and record purposes
