Site Administrator / Labour Manager


The Company

A well-established build and civil engineering contractor, who have been operating in the industry for 25+ years. They have experience throughout a range of sectors including retail, education, industrial and residential. Operating nationwide and specialising in fast-track construction solutions creating a 'one-stop-shop' for their clients.



The Project

As a highly experienced Site Administrator / Labour Manager you will be working on a £200m New Build Arena for an M&E Subcontractor in Manchester. You will be the first point of contact when operatives and visitors arrive to site so you must have excellent people and organisational skills. You will be heavily involved in all site administration duties including the processing of timesheets for over 100 operatives on a very busy construction site. Another essential task includes exporting data from the turnstile system, making the necessary manual adjustments, and obtaining approval for hours before forwarding the information to the appropriate labour agencies weekly. You will liaise with Senior Management and the wider site team to ensure all duties are completed to a high standard.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional experience and skills as a minimum;

* Computer Literate
* Excellent organisation skills
* High standards for quality of work
* Previous construction experience on a similar project
* The ability to respond to inquiries and probe into any discrepancies as necessary
* Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office package including Outlook, Word and Excel

Duties

* Team communications
* Maintaining office systems
* Keeping records up to date
* Dealing with incoming e-mail and post
* Receiving and replying to email queries
* Printing, scanning binding / filing documents
* Management of PPE for new starters and visitors
* Use Outlook, Word and Excel on a day-to-day basis
* Providing support to our Project team when required
* Welcoming visitors and staff and giving access to the building
* General admin support as required to the team and Directors
* Producing documents, reports and presentations to a high standard
* Liaising with staff and clients in an effective and professional manner
* Ensure the team is compliant with all company Standards and Procedures
