Freelance Electrical Supervisor


The Company

A well-established build and civil engineering contractor, who have been operating in the industry for 25+ years. They have experience throughout a range of sectors including retail, education, industrial and residential. Operating nationwide and specialising in fast-track construction solutions creating a 'one-stop-shop' for their clients.



The Project

As an experienced Freelance Electrical Supervisor, you will be working on a £200m New Build Leisure Development in Manchester. You will be working closely and reporting directly to the Site Manager to ensure that this project is delivered on time, in budget and to a high standard.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you hold the experience below as a minimum;

* Valid CSCS / JIB
* SMSTS / SSSTS
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Outstanding observational skills and attention to detail



The Role

* Job Title: Electrical Supervisor
* Project: £200m New Build Leisure Development, Manchester
* Duration: 12 Months Freelance
* Reporting to: Site Manager

Duties

* Quality Assurance
* Ensuring site health and safety
* Complete records for site reports
* Attend site management meetings
* Assisting day to day running of site
* Provide expert mechanical knowledge
* Supervise workers and subcontractors
* Reporting progress directly to the Site Manager
* Maintain an accurate site log and record of personnel attendance
* Handle onsite incidents in accordance with incident response protocols
* Managing construction personnel and delegating tasks to meet deadlines
* Support the project management team in planning and managing workloads
* Ensuring all personnel comply with health and safety practices, such as wearing the appropriate protective equipment
