March 2013 - Caval celebrates its 5th birthday. We've only known recession in the economy yet we've grown every year. The Manchester office is now established, winning new business and growing quickly. We welcome a new trainee consultant, Cliff Cartwright, who joined the team in March. We now have £10m turnover firmly in our sights!
Manchester office open for business January 2013
With Caval's business in the North West growing year on year, we are delighted to launch our new Manchester branch, based in modern serviced offices close to Piccadilly station, in January 2013. Headed up by a Regional Director with 9 years experience in Construction recruitment, we are looking to recruit consultants with experience in Construction or M&E trades and labour, or Professional and Technical freelance or search & selection.
If you are currently working for a business that is going backwards, or simply not fulfilling your career aspirations, it will be worth you getting in touch!
Fifth Year of Consecutive Significant Growth....!
After an exceptional last quarter solidified another bumper year, Caval's turnover jumped from £6.6m in 2011 to £7.6m in 2012!
A big thank you for the hard work and dedication of our team of consultants and administrators in Leeds who have achieved the fifth consecutive year of significant growth for Caval.
Happy New Year to all and here's to a 6th year of growth!
Construction Trades smashes through the 200 barrier!
With two weeks to go before the summer holidays signal peak trading, the Construction Trades & Labour team smashed through the 200 timesheets per week barrier, a phenomenal achievement.
As a reward, a well earned three course meal was enjoyed by all at San Carlo in Leeds yesterday lunchtime. We'll be back when 300 timesheets is achieved!
Director Jamie Talbot's charity half marathon
Jamie is running the Leeds half marathon on Sunday 13th May on behalf of the charity DEBRA, a national charity working in the UK to help people with the genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) - www.debra.org.uk.
It is a charity close to Caval's heart, as they have given wonderful support to Director Matthew Chapman's nephew Jack and family.
Any donations would be most gratefully received. Please follow the link: http://www.justgiving.com/caval
Good luck Jamie!
Construction Trades Team adds a new Consultant!
Caval's construction trades and labour team is firmly established as the market leader in Yorkshire and beyond. We have been looking for a consultant to add another dimension to the team and we are confident our new recruit, Katy Poffley, will add just that! Having 2 years experience with A&E Recruitment, we are confident Katy is going to fly with Caval.

We look forward to developing relationships with these companies.
Second key appointment of 2012!
The M&E Division is one of the foundations on which Caval's success has been built. We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jamie Shrive who leaves Randstad to develop the freelance and permanent, Management and Technical side of the Division.
With the Division busier than ever in the Utilities, Power and Building Services sectors, we have high hopes that Jamie is going to make a strong impression.
